RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the Executive Director, Contra Costa County Private Industry Council, to execute on behalf of the County standard form Job Training Partnership Act (DTPA) Contracts with four (4) Service Providers (Contractors) as specified in the attached "DTPA Title: I1-A Unit Sized Projects Specification Chart" for Contract.Terms and Payment Limits indicated therein, subject to approval by County Counsel as to legalform. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. 100% federal funds. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION BACKGROUND: 'On September 17, 1990, the Private Industry Council of Contra Costa County acted on and approved the funding of four. (4) DTPA Title 1I- A Unit Sized Training Projects described on the attached Specifications Chart to provide Classroom Training and/or On-the- Job Training for DTPA-eligible Contra Costa County residents (excluding the City of Richmond). These contracts will provide vocational training and job placement for approximately 46 DTPA participants.
