FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE The agreement will require the County to transfer to the city from the County' s share of parking citation revenues an amount equal to $1 .95 for each parking citation which was issued to a juror's vehicle and subsequently dismissed by the court. The additional payments to the City of Martinez will be off-set by a bail increase on parking offenses averaging $2 . 50 per cite. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND: The agreement has been made in order to mitigate the financial impact on the City of Martinez which is created by the dismissal of certain parking citations issued to jurors and the resultant mandated spinoff of revenue to Justice Facility Construction Funds for each citation filed the court . The mandatory spinoffs to the Construction Funds result in a loss of $1 . 95 to the City on each cite or approximately $195 to $390 per month.
