HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01231990 - 1.57 /S 7 TO: BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, as the Board of Commissioners of Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency FROM: PHIL BATCHELOR, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DATE: January 23, 1990 SUBJECT: APPROVE CONVEYANCE TO WC NORTH JOINT VENTURE, Pleasant Hill BARTD STATION REDEVELOPMENT AREA 10A Project No. 7891-6X5598 SPECIFIC REQUESTS(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: APPROVE Grant Deed and Quitclaim Deed to WC NORTH JOINT VENTURE and Authorize the Executive Director, or his designee, to sign said deeds on behalf of the Agency, and DIRECT the Real Property Division to deliver the deeds to the Grantee for acceptance and recording; AUTHORIZE the Executive Director or his designee, to enter into an indemnity agreement with First American Title Guaranty Company as to any third party interests; AUTHORIZE the Executive Director, or his designee, to execute the documents necessary to delivery the Agency's interest in properties specified in a Disposition and Development Agreement dated August 31, 1989, between the Agency and Treat Corners Partnership, whose interest was assigned and assumed by WC North Joint Venture. II. Financial Impact: None III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: The development agreement with the developer of Area 10A, Pleasant Hill BARTD Station Redevelopment Project provides for the conveyance of parcels 617, P- 3 and P-19 in the project area to the Grantee. The Grantee has previously conveyed several parcels to the Agency in conjunction wit the road infrastruc- ture construction adjacent to Area 10A.
