County DATE: January 23 , 1990 SUBJECT: RENTAL AGREEMENT - 176 Camino Pablo, Orinda SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. RECOMMENDATION AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Rental Agreement with Joyce Hardison, Rita McPeak and Lora Sopyla for the premises at 176 Camino Pablo, Orinda, under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Rental Agreement. DETERMINE that the above project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT This Rental Agreement will provide revenue to the County of $12 , 480. 00 per year. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND This Agreement will provide reasonably priced housing for tenants and income to the County until a determination� is made regarding the disposal of this property. RECOMMENDATION AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on behalf of the County, a Rental Agreement with Nancy and Susana Brownfield for the premises at 2565 Oak Road, Walnut Creek, for occupancy by the Brownfields, under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in said Rental Agreement. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT This Rental Agreement will provide revenue to the Road Funds of approximately $7, 800. 00 per year. III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND Oak Road is undergoing construction to be widened. It was determined that the property should be rented until the project is completed, at which time the property will be disposed of.
