Miner, Executive Director, Costa Private Industry Council County DATE: November 15, 1990 SUBJECT: ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC STATUS OF WOMEN - RESIGNATIONS SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION Recommendation That the Board ACCEPT the resignations of Diana Doughtie, representing the Labor Category, and Tara Keniry, representing the Youth Category, on the Advisory Committee on the Employment and Economic Status of Women (ACEESW) and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to apply the Board's policy in filling these positions. The term for these positions is through 2/28191. Background Ms. Doughtie has submitted a letter of resignation from the ACEESW (see attached). Ms. Keniry did not submit a letter of resignation, however, Ms. Keniry I s mother indicated that her daughter was attending college back east and was not available at this time to participate on the ACEESW. I tried for the October meeting, but gave up when I realized that I'd be forty minutes late. I apologize to all of you for taking a slot and not repaying the committee with at least my presence, if not my ideas and assistance.
