SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) &BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION I. Recommended Action: the following 1. Accept / report,'Cr'om Public Works Director regarding appropriation of $917,000 of Measure C monies and refer it to the Transportation Committee for further review and recommendation. 2. Approve the rebudget of $609,832 for 1989-90 carry over Road Fund projects. II. Financial Impact: 1. None. Funds already received on 9-21-90 from the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. 2. None. All offset by anticipated revenues from grants and other sources. III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background: 1. On September 21, 1990 Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) allocated $1,461,900 to the County from the 88/89 and 89/90 Local Street Maintenance and Improvement Program of Measure C. On August 13, 1990 the Board approved the advance of $350,000 for growth manage- ment compliance purposes and allocated $1,111,900 for transportation purposes pursuant to the Five-Year County Road Improvement Program. (See attached Board Order for further reference). The remaining monies, $917,000 still needs to be appropriated into the road budget.
