BACKGROUND At the October 31, 1989, Board of Supervisors meeting this matter was discussed in great detail. Now we need to carry out the Board policy of recycling whenever possible. All correspondence generated from county offices must utilize both sides of the paper. This would include meeting agendas and press releases. CONTINUED ON ATTACHMENT: YES SIGNATURE: RECOMMENDATION OF COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR RECOMMENDATION OF BOARD COMMITTEE APPROVE OTHER SIGNATURE(S) ACTION OF BOARD ON November 14 , 1989 APPROVED AS RECOMMENDED OTHER X— REQUESTED that all County departments begin printing reports on both sides of paper where practicable ; REQUESTED County Administrator to report on the feasibility of implementing the policy; and REFERRED the matter to the Solid Waste Commission.
