Project Agreement; Shelter, Inc.
SPECIFIC REQUEST S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
Authorize the Chair to approve the CDBG program project agreement
with Shelter, Inc. implementing Activity 15-59 Central County
Shelter Acquisition with a payment limit of $62,000 comprised of
funds reallocated from the CDBG Contingency fund.
FISCAL IMPACT
None ( 100% HUD Funds)
BACKGROUND/REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
Shelter, Inc. will acquire a 16 unit apartment building to provide
a mix of low income and transitional housing units for families
with children. The shelter will be located on 1515 We eet,
Concord and is co-funded by the City of Concord. ,
