SUBJECT: LEASE - 500 COURT STREET, MARTINEZ, CALIFORNIA
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECONMUUiDATION
AUTHORIZE the Director of General Services to EXECUTE, on
behalf of the County, a Lease with the Contra Costa Community
College District for the premises at 500 Court Street,
Martinez for occupancy by Employee and Organizational
Development, under the terms and conditions more particularly
set forth in said Lease.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT
Payments required are to come from the budget of the General
Services Department.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS/BACKGROUND
It has been determined by the County Administrator' s Office
that the training facilities in this building could better
serve the needs of the County if they were remodeled to
increase the size of existing classrooms and create additional
classrooms. The District has agreed to provide this
remodeling and finance the cost of the improvements. The
County will reimburse the District over the term of the Lease.
