Redeposits: Redeposit of prior membership forinerly withdrawn. Compute amount of contributions member paid during the prior membership and add interest that would have been earned. Pick Up: Compute cost of time prior to former or current membership. Public Service: Compute cost of military, federal/state, or other county service time. 15% FINALS Verify, review, and correct computions of service and disability retirement allowances. Check that retirees ' file is complete and set up correctly. 2% ADJUSTMENTS Verify, review, and correct calculations of adjustments due to discrepancies in retirement contributions paid. What are the most important assignments you perform and why? Verifying and correcting retirement calculations. The figures are calculated by a number of different factors and must be accurate. Employees are making life plans based on the figures we are providing for them. 6. What is the most difficult or complex work you perform and why? Verifying and correcting retirement calculations. In order to be accurate, I must be knowledgable of the law and how to apply this to the calculations. 7. What parts of your job involve the greatest responsibility and why?
