RECOMMENDATION APPROVE the deposit of funds from the following entity to the Flood Control District Revolving Fund: Flood Control District $50, 000 APPROVE a loan at an annual rate of 8.98% from the Flood Control District Revolving fund to the following entity. County Redevelopment Agency $50, 000 The above loan is anticipated to be repaid within five years. II. FINANCIAL IMPACT The funds loaned to the County Redevelopment Agency will be unavailable for capital improvements until such time as they are repaid with interest. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND The loan to the County Redevelopment Agency is needed to help finance the establishment of a redevelopment project in the Oakley area. Redevelopment activity is needed to help complete the needed drainage improvements in Drainage Areas 29D and 29E. IV. CONSEQUENCES OF NEGATIVE ACTION Failure to approve the deposit and loan will delay im- plementation of the Oakley Redevelopment project and the installation of needed drainage improvements.
