RESOLUTION NO. 3551
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR
ADDITIONAL SECTION 8, HOUSING VOUCHERS
FOR USE IN THE RENTAL REHABILITATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the County of Contra Costa has been invited to apply to the U. S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development for Rental
Rehabilitation Program funds in the amount of $159,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Section 8 Existing Vouchers are to be made available to the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa for use in
the Rental Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa has been
designated as the contractor to undertake implementation of the
Rental Rehabilitation Program for Contra Costa County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa hereby authorizes
its Executive Director to file an application with HUD for
additional units under the Section 8, Existing Construction,
Housing Program, to be used for the Rental Rehabilitation Program.
The Executive Director is further authorized to submit any
additional information in support of the application which maybe
required by HUD.
This resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED ON January 17, 1989 by the following vote of the Commissioners:
AYES: Commissioners Powers , Fanden, Schroder, McPeak,
Torlakson.
NOES: None.
