HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 01101989 - 1.29 9 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Adopted this Resolution on January 10, 1989, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson & Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 89/ 5 (Government Code No. 25350) SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property for Byron Airport, A.P.N. 001-031-016 Byron, California 0124-4670 (6X5350) FAA-AIP Project # 3-06-008-02 Byron Area RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Edward William Schlies, Trustee of the Schlies Family Trust, for County Airport purposes, the real property described as the northeast 1/4 of Section 26, T. 1S. , R. 3E. , M.D.B. & M. , excepting that area described in the deed recorded April 14, 1974 in Book 4595 Official Records, page 305, for $425, 000. 00, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Purchase Agreement between Contra Costa. County and Edward William Schlies, Trustee, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on February 14, 1989 at 9: 00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, Califor- nia, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the following notice in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063 . NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County declares its intention to purchase from Edward William Schlies, Trustee of the Schlies Family Trust, at a price of $425, 000.00, the property known as Assessor's Parcel Number 001-031-016 with miscellaneous farm buildings thereon, being approximately 151 acres of land located at 7050 North Bruns Road, Byron, California and more particularly described in Resolution No. 89/ S of the Board and will meet at 9: 00 a.m. on February 14, 1989, in its Chambers, County Administra- tion Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to consummate the purchase.
