HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02281989 - T.6 T. 64LO THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on February 28, 1989, by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Powers, Fanden, McPeak and Torlakson NOES: None i ABSENT: Commissioner Schroder i ABSTAIN: None ,! i -------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution No. RA 89-3 SUBJECT: Approval of a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) between the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency "Agency" ) and A.T.A.P. International, Inc. ( "Developer" ) in the North Richmond Redevelopment Project Area ( "Project Area" ) . It is the intent of the Agency to enter into a DDA with Developer as 1 the designated developer of seven (7 ) single family detached homes in the Project Area. The purpose of the DDA is to provide for: 1. The conveyance of Agency owned-property to the Developer. I 2 . The construction by Developer of seven single family detached homes. i 3 . The sale of the homes to lower income households. 4 . The participation of the Agency in the sale of the homes by providing a subsidy in the form of a deferred payment second mortgage. In accordance with California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33433) the Agency has prepared a Summary Report on the DDA; the Summary Report and the DDA have been made available for public inspection; and the Agency and Board of Supervisors have held a duly noticed public hearing to consider the DDA. The DDA is in the best interest of the County and the Agency, and is necessary for implementation of the North Richmond Redevelopment Plan. The Board of Supervisors and the Agency find that the purchase price of property interest to be conveyed to Developer pursuant to the DDA is not less than the fair market value of such interest determined at the highest and best use permitted under the Redevelopment Plan. Therefore, thei, Redevelopment Agency hereby resolves: i That certain Disposition and Development Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and A.T.A.P.
