MODERNIZATION PROJECT GRANT AMENDMENT
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
ACCEPT U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) fully-executed
counterpart of Contract No. SF-182, Amendment No. 42, Project No. CA39-PO11-011-Z
funding the Federal Fiscal Year 1989 Comprehensive Improvement Assistance Program
for the Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa, in the amount of $2,766,000.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding in the total of amount .of $2,766,000 has been received for use by the
Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa in comprehensive, special purpose and
emergency modernization of seven of its low-income housing developments.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND:
We have been received from HUD fully-executed Amendment No. 42 to Annual
Contributions Contract SF-182, funding the Housing Authority' s 1989 Comprehensive
Improvement Assistance Program for 1989 in the total amount of $2,766,000 to be used
at the following low-income housing developments:

The Housing Authority is now in a position to request .proposals for
Comprehensive, Special Purpose and Emergency Modernization. Proposals from various
architects have been reviewed and interviews will be held prior to December 31, 1989.

None.
