SUBJECT: Disposal of Surplus Property and Financial Impact
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) CR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDATION
Declare as surplus and authorize the Purchasing Services Officer to
dispose of vehicles and equipment, as specifically set forth below.

II . BACKGROUND
Effective January 1, 1990, the Public Works Department will no longer
maintain the Oakley Sanitary District Facility and will not need the
equipment and vehicles listed above.
III . FINANCIAL IMPACT
There will be no financial impact. to Contra Costa County. The units
will be sold to Oakley Sanitary District for the purchase price less
the depreciation cost as of November 1, 1989.
