SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing Public Works Director to
Arrange for the Purchase of Landscape Maintenance
Equipment by Ambrose Parks and Recreation District for
County Landscaping and Lighting District 1979-3 (LL-2)
Zone 9 (West Pittsburg) . (7788-6X5421)
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
RESOLVES that:
The Board adopted it's Resolution confirming engineer's
report, ordering improvement and levying the annual assessment
for Zone 9 County Landscaping and Lighting District 1979-3 (LL-
2) . The contract work component of the report requires that
Ambrose Parks and Recreation District shall enter into contract
with the landscaping and lighting zone and shall furnish all
labor, equipment and materials required to do the work necessary
to satisfy the requirements of the landscaping and lighting zone
in accordance with the approved scope of work.
Ambrose Parks and Recreation District intends to
purchase certain landscape maintenance equipment and requests
that landscaping and lighting district funds be advanced to
reimburse them for this expense.
The Board of Supervisors hereby AUTHORIZES the Public
Works Director to arrange for payment in the estimated amount of
$26, 000 to Ambrose Parks and Recreation District from the County
Landscaping and Lighting District 1979-3 (LL-2) Zone 9 (West
Pittsburg) funds.
