HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11291988 - 1.107 THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this order on November 29, 1988 by the following vote AYES: Commissioners Powers, Fanden, McPeak, Thrlakson and Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN:None Resolution No. RA-88=18 -------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAN FOR THE OAKLEY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, RATIFYING SUBMISSION OF THE DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY HEALTH & SAFETY CODE SECTION 33327, AND ESTABLISHING THE BASE YEAR FOR TAX ALLOCATION PURPOSES The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency RESOLVE'S THAT: On October 4, 1988, by Resolution No. 88/645, the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County designated the boundaries of the Oakley Redevelopment Survey Area. i On November 14, 1988, by Resolution No. 72 -1988 (EC) , the East County Regional Planning Commission selected the Oakley Redevelopment Project Area (the "Project Area" ) and adopted a Preliminary Plan for. the Project Area. The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency" ) has received the Preliminary Plan for the Project Area and desires to proceed with the formal adoption of a redevelopment plan for said Project Area. Pursuant to California Health & Safety Code Section 33327, after receipt of a preliminary redevelopment plan, the Agency is required to submit various documents to the County Auditor, County Assessor, County Tax Collector, the State Board of . Equalization, and .to the legislative or governing bodies of local agencies which receive a portion of the property tax generated in the Project Area. On November 15, 1988, Agency staff transmitted the documents required by California Health & Safety Code Section 33327. THEREFORE, the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency hereby accepts and approves the Preliminary Plan adopted by the East County Regional Planning Commission as the Preliminary Plan for the Project Area. The Agency hereby designates fiscal year 1988-89 as 'the base year assessment roll it shall use for the allocation of taxes. The.
