SUBJECT: Conveyance of Easements to Oakley Water District
Across Drainage Area 56 (Lindsey Basin) Property
Project No. 4500-6X5524
Antioch Area
The Board of Supervisors, as the governing body of the
Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation
District acquired the real property on Neroly Road in the
southeast Antioch Area for flood control purposes. The Oakley
Water District has requested two easements, described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, over a portion of said property for access
and utility purposes. This Board FINDS that the conveyance of
such easements is in the public interest and will not substan-
tially conflict or interfere with the District's use of the
property.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance
of two easements to the Oakley Water District, as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, pursuant to Government Code Section
25526.6 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute two
Grants of Easement on behalf of the District in consideration for
the payment received in full in the amount of $9, 070.00.
The Chief Engineer is hereby AUTHORIZED to sign the
Agreement for Grant of Easements on behalf of the District.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said
Grants of Easement to be delivered to the grantee.

FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT hereby
GRANTS to OAKLEY WATER DISTRICT, a local governmental agency of the State
of California, a perpetual easement for the purpose of installing,
operating, using, maintaining, repairing, and replacing water pipelines,
telemetry cables, storm drain pipelines, and all necessary appurtenances
thereto with a right-of-way for equipment, vehicles, and pedestrians, over,
under, and across the real property in the unincorporated area of the
County of Contra Costa, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 34, Township 2 North,
Range 2 East, Mount Diablo base and meridian, Contra Costa County,
State of California, being further described as follows:
A portion of the parcel of land granted to Contra Costa County Flood
Control and Water Conservation District by the deed recorded
August 14, 1987, in Book 13838 of official records at page 552, Contra
Costa County Records, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the southwest line of the
Southern Pacific Railroad 100 feet in width right of way, as described
in the deed to San Pablo and Tulare Railroad recorded January 30,
1872, in Book 22 of deeds at page 510 records of said county, and the
south line of the parcel described in the deed to United States of
America recorded March 10, 1938, in Book 463 of official records at
page 19, records of said county, said POINT OF BEGINNING being the
northeastern corner of the said Flood Control District parcel (13838
