THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
Adopted this Resolution on October 25, 1988 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson & Schroder

ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None RESOLUTION NO. 88/676
SUBJECT: Approval of Road Improvement Agreements and Amending
Subdivision Agreement, Subdivision 6586, Danville Area.
In order to allow the release of a major portion of the
subdivision agreement bond while the developer coordinates
improvements to Camino Tassajara Road with the Town of Danville,,
the following documents were presented for Board approval for
Subdivision 6586, property located in the Danville area.
I. A bond rider dated September 29, 1988, issued by
Fidelity Deposit Company of Maryland, to modify Bond
No. 9859045 , issued July 2, 1986, reducing the
performance bond from $1,250,900 to $771, 100.
II. A Road Improvement Agreement with Blackhawk Plaza
Partners, developer, whereby said developer agrees to
complete all improvements as required in said Road
Improvement Agreement within one year from the date of
said agreement. Improvements generally consist of
median islands, pavement widening and street lighting.
Said document was accompanied by security to guarantee
the completion of road and drainage improvements, as
required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, in
the form of a corporate surety bond dated September 30,
1988, and issued by Fidelity Deposit Company of
Maryland (Bond No. 30191801) with Blackhawk Plaza
Partners, as principal, in the amount of $69,800 for
faithful performance and $34,900 for labor and
materials.
III. A Road Improvement Agreement with Blackhawk Plaza
Partners, developer, whereby said developer agrees to
complete all improvements as required in said Road
Improvement Agreement within one year from the date of
said agreement. Improvements generally consist of
traffic signals at the Camino Tassajara and Blackhawk
Road entrances and at the intersection of Blackhawk
Road with Camino Tassajara Road.
Said document was accompanied by security to guarantee
the completion of road and drainage improvements, as
required by Title 9 of the County Ordinance Code, in
the form of a corporate surety bond dated September 30, '
1988, and issued by Fidelity Deposit Company of
Maryland (Bond No. 30191800) with Blackhawk Plaza
Partners, as principal, in the amount of $410, 000 for
faithful performance and $205, 000 for labor and
materials.
NOW THEREFORE' BE IT RESOLVED that said Road Improvement
Agreements are APPROVED.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Subdivision Agreement
approved by the Board on July 8, 1986, is hereby AMENDED to allow
reduction of the performance bond amount to $771, 000, exclusion
of road improvement work on Camino Tassajara Road and exclusion
of traffic signal work.
