FINANCIAL IMPACT: Funding for these positions is included in the 1988-89 County Library budget. REASON FOR RECOMMENDATION: At the June 3 , 1986 Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board reaffirmed its commitment to the City of San Ramon, that upon completion of a suitable library building to be financed by the City, the County will provide operating funds for library materials , staff and occupancy costs. The building is presently under construction and completion is expected in December. Staffing must be hired by December 1, 1988 in order to prepare the building for opening within 30 days of the completion of construction.
