HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10111988 - 1.4 (3) THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA 4� Adopted this Resolution on October 11, 1988, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak, Torlakson and Schroder NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 88/649 SUBJECT: Quitclaim Real Property Erroneously Conveyed to County Project No. 0119-4266 (W.O. 6G5387) Pleasant Hill Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board on December 1, 1987 passed Resolution No. 87/708 consummating the purchase of the real property at 2025 Sherman Drive in Pleasant Hill and accepting a Deed for same from Cornella Construction Company, Inc. pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Lease Option Agreement between the County and Cornella Construction Company, Inc. dated November 19, 1983 . Said Grant Deed, dated October 27, 1987, erroneously conveyed title to the County to the entire Assessor's Parcel No. 127-170-017. The terms of the Lease Option Agreement provided for the County to lease and have the option to purchase only a portion of the entire parcel at 2025 Sherman Drive. In order to correct this error and comply with said agreement the Board APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of the surplus property back to the original owner and the Chairman of the Board is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County to quitclaim the erroneously acquired portion of this property back to Cornella Construction Company, Inc. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the grantee.
