Staff has done an initial evaluation of the Oakley area and believes that conditions exist which would justify the establishment of a redevelopment project area by the adoption of a redevelopment plan . Redevelopment Law requires a project area be all or part of a designated Survey Area . To that end, it is appropriate to designate a larger area as a Survey Area than what might finally be proposed as the Project Area . THEREFORE the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors hereby resolves that the unincorporated area of Oakley, more specifi - cally set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, is designated a Redevelopment Survey Area . The Board hereby finds that the area requires a study to determine if a redevelopment project within said area is feasible . Exhibit A describing the boundaries of the Oakley Redevelopment S,urvey Area designated herein is incorporated and by this reference made a part hereof .
