Adopted this Order on October 4, 1988 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Powers , Fanden, McPeak and Torlakson
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Schroder
ABSTAIN: None
SUBJECT: Authorizing the Public Works Director to Arrange for
Completion of Improvements, Subdivision MS 116-78, E1
Sobrante Area.
The Board on May 17, 1983, having approved a Subdivision
Agreement with Richard Hass, dba Haas Construction, effective May
17, 1983 , for construction of certain improvements in Subdivision
MS 116-78, E1 Sobrante area; and
The Public Works Director having reported that the developer
has failed to satisfactorily complete the work as required by
said agreement; and
The Public Works Director having recommended that he be
authorized to arrange for completing the work (estimated to be
$13, 000, plus the cost of preparing plans and specifications,
solicitation of bids, and any cost involved in recovering monies
from the surety) using the $1, 000 cash deposit (Auditor's Deposit
Permit No. 65334, dated May 10, 1983) made by Dale Vaccarello to
help defray the County's cost.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the recommendation of the
Public Works Director is APPROVED.
