Bragdon Contra Director of Community Development DATE: December 8, 1987 C ^ SUBJECT: Hearing on Rezoning Application 2732-RZ to rezone 13 acres of land described as a combination of two parcels fronting on Empire Avenue, 200 feet north of the intersection with Laurel Road in the Oakley area from General Agriculture (A-2) to Planned Unit District (P-1) along with a preliminary development plan for 62 residential lots, filed by James R. and Jane A. Benner (Applicants & Owners) . SPECIFIC REQUEST S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RECOMMENDATIONS 1. Accept the environmental documentation as being adequate. 2. Approve the Rezoning Application 2732-RZ as recommended by the East County Regional Planning Commission. 3. Adopt the East County Regional Planning Commission's findings as set forth in Resolution No. 63-1987 as the determinations for these actions with conditions of approval ,- .4. Introduce the ordinance giving effect to the aforesaid rezoning, waive reading and set date for adoption of same. On recommendation of Supervisor Torlakson, IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the Board DECLARES ITS INTENT to approve recommendations 1, 2, 3, and as in recommendation 4, Ordinance No. 88-15 is INTRODUCED reading waived; and the Community Development Department is REQUESTED to prepare the appropriate documentation for Board consideration.
