SUBJECT: Authorization to transmit the Preliminary Report and
Draft Environment Impact Report for the Pleasant Hill
BART Station Area Redevelopment Plan Amendment to the
affected taxing agencies.
The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency RESOLVES that:
An amendment to the Pleasant Hill BART Station Area Redevelopment
Plan is being prepared pursuant to Health and Safety Code 33000
et.seq; and
Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33344. 5 staff is pre-
paring a Preliminary Report for the Pleasant Hill BART Station
Redevelopment Project Amendment Area; and
Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 33333 . 3 , staff is
preparing an Environmental Impact Report for the Pleasant Hill BART
Station Redevelopment Project Amendment Area; and
Pursuant to Health and Safety Code Sections 33344. 5 and 33333 . 3 the
Redevelopment Agency is required to send the Preliminary Report and
the Environmental Impact Report to all affected taxing agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Agency of
Contra Costa County hereby authorizes distribution of the
Preliminary Report and the Draft Environmental Impact Report to the
affected taxing agencies and to the Project Area Committee, and
other interested State and local entities as required by the
California Community Redevelopment Law, and instructs staff to
continue the procedure for consultation on and the review of said
document as mandated by the California Community Redevelopment Law.
