HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 02221988 - H.A A THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA DATE: February 22, 1988 MATTER OF RECORD ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBJECT: Presentations on Family and Children' s Trust Fund and Arts: Contra Costa The Board of Supervisors heard a presentation by Ken Jaffe on a summary of the public hearings held on November 20, 1987 on the needs of family and children' s services in Contra Costa County. Also present was Sharon Johnson, Social Services Administrative Analyst, who responded to Board questions on the Ann Adler Fund. George Brilts, President of Arts: Contra Costa, made a presentation on behalf of Arts: Contra Costa, requesting consideration for $6,000 funding in the County budget for 1988-1989. Supervisor Schroder commented that the request would be considered by the Board. Also present representing Arts: Contra Costa were Irene Haggerty and Beth Batchelor. The Board viewed a five minute video presentation on Arts: Contra Costa created by David Hatch of that organization. THIS IS A MATTER FOR RECORD PURPOSES ONLY NO BOARD ACTION TAKEN
