In the Matter of Delegated Authority) RESOLUTION NO.. 88/740
for Position Hour Adjustments )
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
1. Delegation. To give the Health Services Department flexibility in
scheduling the work of its employees in the classes identified in Exhibit
A, by simplifying the fixing of the hours of such positions, which is
necessary to increase efficiency, as recommended by the County
Administrator this Board hereby delegates to the Director of Personnel the
authority to establish the hours of those positions, as limited herein.
2. Total Hours. This Board hereby creates for the Health Services Department
the number of positions in each .classification identified in Exhibit A
with the collective maximum hours per week shown.
3. Allocation to Positions. The Director of Personnel shall allocate the
number of hours to be worked by each position; but:
a. The Director of Personnel shall not change the number of positions or
the maximum number of allowable working hours for all such positions
as specified on Exhibit A, except in the event the Board shall
authorize additional positions to any such classifications or allocate
additional hours to positions within such classifications,-;in which
case the Director of Personnel may incorporate such additions into the
totals herein authorized.
