Home My WebLink AboutMINUTES - 10131987 - T.6 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order 'on October 13, 1987 , by the :following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, Torlakson, McPeak NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: JOINT MEETING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WITH THE AIRPORT LAND USE COMMISSION, AVIATION ADVISORY BOARD AND COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION The Board set October 13, 1987 at 12:00 Noon as the date and time to hold a joint meeting with the Airport Land Use Commission, Aviation Advisory Committee and County Planning Commission.. A, variety of matters were discussed, at the conclusion of which the Board of Supervisors took the following actions: 1. Directed the Community Development Department to insure that all projects which are within the jurisdiction of the Airport Land Use Commission be forwarded to the Commission pursuant to State law. 2. Directed the Community Development Department to insure that a copy of all projects which are forwarded to the Airport Land Use Commission also be sent to the Aviation Advisory Committee for their comments and recommendations. 3 . Directed that the Director of Community Development and Public Works Director insure that the Transportation Planning Division of the Community Development Department is involved in the planning for the Byron Airport. 4. Indicated to staff that it is the Board' s desire that the airport noise ordinance be forwarded to the Board as soon as possible. 5. Referred to the Internal Operations Committee the comments made by the ALUC, AAC and Board of Supervisors for the purpose of preparing a proposed response to the 1986-87 Grand Jury' s comments on the airport and the need for an appointment to the ALUC.
