SPECIFIC REQUESTS(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND
JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action:
APPROVE Right of Way Contract and ACCEPT Grant Deed, dated
September 22, 1987 from Edward E. Madigan, et al.
AUTHORIZE the Executive Director, or his designee, to execute
said Right of Way Contract on behalf of the Agency.
AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in the
amount of $15,000 payable to Western Title Insurance Company,
Escrow No. W-493716, to be forwarded to the Real Property
Division for delivery. ,
DIRECT the Real Property Division to have the above
referenced Grant Deed recorded in the office of the County
Recorder.
II. Financial Impact:
Payment of $15,000 from Redevelopment Agency funds.
III. Reasons for Recommendations and Background:
These property rights are required for the Treat Boulevard
widening at Cherry Lane project in accordance with approved
plans and specifications. '
IV. Consequences of Negative Action:
The project will not have sufficient land rights to allow
construction in- accordance with the plans and specifications.
