TDA BOARD OF SUPERVISORS t
FROM: Supervisor Tom Torlakson
CContraO tt
Introduced September 29, 1987, for Board Actio Costa
DATE: on October 6 , 1987 Coi/
SUBJECT: USES WITH LAND USE PERMIT IN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT ``
SPECIFIC RE EST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGRCIUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Amend Section 84-38. 404 of the Contra
Costa County Ordinance to include wood selling as a use under a land
use permit in the agriculture district.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: It has come to my attention that
wood selling is not included as a use under a land use permit in the
agriculture district. Apparently, such activity is occurring in these
areas and is appropriate since wood is a by-product of the
agricultural areas.d
