The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
On September 16, 1986, by : Resolution No. 86/562, the Board of
Supervisors granted tentative cancellation approval for a portion
of the real property covered by Agricultural Preserve Contract
#12-70. The contract affects property commonly known as the
Edmonston Ranch and identified as Assessor' s Parcel Nos.
220-070-002, 220-070-004, 220-090-001, and 206-020-014.
The tentative cancellation approval applied only to Assessor' s
Parcel Nos. 220-070-002, 220-070-004, and 220-090-001 consisting
of the 196 acres on the north side of Camino Tassajara.
A Certificate of Tentative Cancellation (attached) was recorded
-- on October 6, 1986 in accord with the tentative approval decision
of the Board. That certificate required ( 1 ) ;; the payment of
cancellation fees in the amount of $32,239 and (2 ) approval of a
Planned Unit District preliminary development plan within one,
year of the date of. the tentative cancellation.
On May 26, 1987 Dame Construction Company - received final
development plan approval from the Board of Supervisors for the
Shadow Creek planned unit district project providing for a
maximum of 429 residential units and open space area.
On September 16, 1987 the Community Development Department
.received a copy of a deposit permit from the Office of County
Auditor-Controller indicating that the County had received
payment of the required cancellation fee.
Based on this, evidence, the Board of Supervisors finds that all
conditions ands• contingencies associated with the tentative
cancellation decision have been satisfied.

The Board directs the Clerk. of the Board to file with the County
Recorder a Certificate of Cancellation of Contract pursuant to
Government Code Section 51283 .3 .
The Board also directs the Clerk of the Board to provide copies
of the recorded certificate to the current owner, Community
Development Department, and County Assessor.

Condtiions and Contingencies (Government Code Section 51283.4(b)) .
