The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County as the Board of
Commissioners of the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency, RESOLVES THAT:
It intends to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by
eminent domain of real property in the Pleasant Hill - Walnut Creek area, for
redevelopment purposes, a public improvement, which property is more particularly
described in Appendix "A" attached hereto.
This Board will meet on February 3, 1987, at 10:30 a.m. in the Board's
Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California,
to hear those persons whose property is to be acquired and whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized County assessment roll, and to consider
the adoption of the Resolution. The Contra Costa County Real Property Division is
DIRE= to send the following notice to each such person by first-class mail:

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County as the Board of
commissioners of the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency declares its
intention to adopt a Resolution of Necessity for the acquisition by eminent
domain of real property in the Pleasant Hill Walnut Creek area, for
redevelopment purposes, a public improvement, which property is more particularly
described in Appendix "A" attached hereto. The Board will meet on February 3,
1987, at 10:30 a.m. in the Board's Chambers at 651 Pine Street, Martinez,
California, to consider the adoption of the Resolution. Each person whose
property is to be acquired and whose name and address appears on the last
equalized County assessment roll has the right to appear at such hearing and be
heard on:
1. Whether the public interest and necessity require the project; and
2. Whether the project is planned and located in the manner that will
be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least
private injury; and
3. Whether the property sought to be acquired is necessary for the
project; and
4. Whether the offer of just compensation required by Section 7267.2
of the Government Code has been made to the owner of record.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
Real property in the State of California, County of Contra Costa,
unincorporated, described as follows:
Portion of the Rancho Las Juntas, described as follows:
Beginning on the north line of 10 feet in width strip of
land described in the deed to County of Contra Costa, recorded
December 6, 1916, Book 285, Deeds, page 64, being the north line
of the road known' as Hedgewood Road, now Treat Boulevard; distant
thereon south 88° 53' 30" west, 1178.31 feet from an iron pipe on
the west line of the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad
Company; thence from said point of beginning north 7° 35' east, 130
feet to the north line of the parcel of land described as Parcel
One in the deed to Donald J. Lawrie, et ux, recorded July 14, 1948,
(File No. 26411) ; thence south 88° 53' 30" west, along said north
line, 80.91 feet to the east line of the Sacramento-Northern Railway
right of way; thence southerly along said east line, along the arc
of a curve to the left with a radius of 1402.70 feet, the center
of which bears south 610 21 ' 32" east, an arc distance of 144.04
feet to an iron pipe on the north line of Hedgewood Road, now Treat
Boulevard; thence north 88° 53' 30" east along said north line,
126.18 feet to the point of beginning.
