SUBJECT: Exercise of Option to Extend Lease for two years with
McMahon-Telfer Properties - 624 Ferry Street, Martinez
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATIONS) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. Recommended Action: AUTHORIZE the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to
EXECUTE, of behalf of the County, an Option to Extend Lease commencing on
February 1, 1987, with McMahon-Telfer Properties, for the premises at 624 Ferry
Street, Martinez, for occupancy by the Health Services Department
(Conservatorship) under the terms and conditions more particularly set forth in
said Lease, dated January 5, 1982.
II. Financial Impact: Payments required are to come from the budget of the General
Services Department.
III. Reasons for Recommendations/Background: Provide continued office and storage
space as requested by the Health Services Department.
