HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 07241990 - 90/4727-- THETHE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY Adopted this Resolution on July 24, 1990, by the following vote: AYES:Supervisors Powers, Schroder, ricPeak,i Torlakson and Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: None RESOLUTION NO. 901472 Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: Consummate Purchase and Accept Grant Deed 10 Douglas Drive Martinez Area W/O 6X5360 The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: This Board on June 26, 1990, passed Resolution of Intention No. 90/416 and Notice fixing July 24, 1990, at 9:00 A.M. in its Chambers, County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as the time and place where it would meet to consummate the purchase of the real property described therein from 10 Douglas Drive, a limited partnership, said property being required for office purposes. Said Resolution was duly published in the Contra Costa Times in compliance with Govt. Code Section 6063. The Board hereby consummates said purchase and approves the Purchase Agreement between 10 Douglas Drive and the County for an office complex at 10 Douglas Drive, Martinez, California, and authorizes the General Services Director to sign the Purchase Agreement on behalf of the County. The purchase price of $2,390,000 is to be provided by the Bank of California via an interim borrowing program financed by the issuance of short term notes as approved by the Board of Supervisors on July 17, 1990, by Resolution No. 90/458. The Board hereby DETERMINES that it is necessary to amend the aforesaid Resolution 90/458 to include specific instructions on the disbursement of funds for the property purchase. The Board hereby RESOLVES that said Resolution is amended as follows: Section 4. Use of Proceeds, paragraph (b) of Board of Supervisors Resolution No. 90/458 is hereby replaced with the following: RESOLUTION NO. 90/ 472 SUBJECT: Consummate Purchase and Accept Grant Deed 10 Douglas Drive Martinez Area W/O 6X5360 July 24, 1990 Page 2 b) $2,390,000 of the proceeds of the Notes shall be deposited directly from the Bank of Calffomia to First Interstate Bank, 1350 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA, account No. 650059060 to the attention of Founders Title, Escrow No. 101073-SP,to be disbursed in accordance with the final escrow instructions from the County for. the property acquisition. The remaining proceeds of the Notes of $818,730 shall be deposited in the Treasury of the County in a proceeds fund (and, therein, within two separated accounts to distinguish between amounts attributable to the Property and amounts attributable to the Renovations) to be disbursed by the County Treasurer for the Project upon receipt by the County Treasurer of a sequentially numbered requisition executed by the County Administrative Officer, any Assistant County Administrative Officer or any Deputy County Administrative Officer,together with such supporting information as the County Treasurer shall deem appropriate. All other sections of Board of Supervisors Resolution 90/458 shall remain unchanged. The Deed from 10 Douglas Drive is hereby ACCEPTED and the Real Property Division is ORDERED to have it recorded,together with a certified copy of this resolution. This Board hereby FINDS that there is no substantial evidence that the proposed project will have a significant effect on the environment, and that it has reviewed and considered the Initial Study and Negative Declaration together with any comments received during the public review process and this Board approves its adequacy for California Environmental Quality Act purposes. The Public Works Director is ORDERED to file a Notice of Determination with the County Clerk.
