HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 07171990 - 90/455BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY IN THE MATTER OF COMMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90/455 the Many Accomplishments of Stuart McCullough, Director, Alcohol/Drug Abuse/Mental Health Division, Health Services Department WHEREAS, Stuart McCullough has demonstrated a strong commitment to the areas of consumer support and patients rights'advocacy and in the development of a positive working relationship with the local chapter of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill; and WHEREAS, he has facilitated a positive working relationship and partnership with the Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Mental Health Advisory Boards; and WHEREAS, he is responsible for the significant expansion of services to the mentally ill homeless in all regions of the County; and WHEREAS, he supported the expansion of services to the geriatric population and development of programs for dual diagnosis clients, and WHEREAS, he has been an active participant in developing interagency collaboration in the areas of assessment of children, family preservation, and the homeless, and WHEREAS, he supported the consolidation and expansion of drug and alcohol treatment services throughout the County; and WHEREAS, he fostered a positive public image of the Alcohol/Drug Abuse/Mental Health Division throughout the State; NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, in recognition of the many accomplishments of Stuart McCullough in his seven year tenure as Director of the Alcohol/Drug Abuse/Mental Health Division of the Contra Costa County Health Services Department, extends its sincere thanks and good wishes for Mr. McCullough's future endeavors. PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 17th day of July, 1990. 1 hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an order entered on the minutes of said Board of Supervisors on the date aforesaid.
