AS THE EX-OFFICIO BODY OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY
FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
Adopted this Resolution on November 27, 1990, by the following vote:

SUBJECT: APPROVE an Agreement with the East Bay Regional Park District for a
Permanent Trail Easement along the Wildcat Creek Flood Control Project
North Richmond area.)
Development of the Wildcat Creek Trail (Trail) along the Wildcat Creek Flood Control
Project in North Richmond has long been a goal of the East Bay Regional Park District
EBRPD) and is supported- by the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District (CCCFC&WCD).
The three-phased construction of the Trail will be jointly funded by EBRPD and the Corps
of Engineers (Corps), with operation and maintenance by EBRPD.
EBRPD is applying to the Environmental Enhancement and Mitigation Program
Proposition 111) for a grant of $450,000 to help meet.its financial commitment to
construct Phase I and a portion of Phase II of the Trail.
EBRPD is required to demonstrate in its Proposition 111 grant application, which has a
November 30, 1990 deadline, that it has land tenure for the Trail.
The CCCFC&WCD is the owner of the real property which has been designated for the
Trail and this property is encompassed within the Wildcat-San Pablo Creeks Project right-
of-way.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, as the ex-officio Board of the
CCCFC&WCD, hereby APPROVES the attached "Agreement for Recreational Trail
Easement between Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District
and East Bay Regional Park District for Wildcat Creek Trail/Flood Control Project" and
AUTHORIZES the Chair to execute the Agreement on behalf of the County.
