HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 06291990 - 90/428THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on June 26 , 1990 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers , Schroder, McPeak, Torlakpon, Fanden NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ADJUSTING HOURLY PAY RATES FOR RESERVE FIREFIGHTERS 90/ 428 WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors in Resolution 80/216 reserves and retains certain fire district powers to be exercised. by the Board with the advice and assistance of the respective fire commissions, including salary adjustments; and WHEREAS the County Administrator has received and reviewed requests from the Contra Costa County and the Moraga Fire Protection Districts to increase the hourly rates of pay for reserve firefighters; NOW THEREFORE, The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, in its capacity as governing board of the County of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is the ex-officio governing board, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE that effective July 1, 1990 the pay rates for reserve firefighters shall be as indicated below: Contra Costa County Fire Protection District Basic Reserve Program Designation Hourly Rate Reserve Firefighter 6.50 Reserve Senior Firefighter 7.00 Task Force (TF) Program Designation Hourly Rate TF Reserve Firefighter 7.50 TF Reserve Driver 8.00 Moraga Fire Protection District Basic Reserve Program Designation Hourly Rate Entry Level 6.50 Skill Level I 7.00 completion of basic training) Skill Level II 7.50 completion of driver training) Differentials Designation Hourly Rate Certified Firefighter I 50 or volunteer firefighter) Certified Driver/Operator I 50 Certified Emergency Medical Technician 50 I hereby certify that this is a true and correct copy of an action taken and entered on the minutes of the Board of Supervisors on the date shown.
