NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None . SUBJECT: Determination of Property Tax ) Transfer for the Jurisdictional ) \\ Change Between the Dublin-San ) RESOLUTION NO. 87/595 Ramon Community Services ) District and the City of ) San Ramon ) WHEREAS, the Revenue and Taxation Code provides that when responsibility for providing a service is transferred from a special district to another agency, the Board of Supervisors shall determine the amount of property tax revenues to be exchanged between the agencies; and WHEREAS, the subject jurisdictional change involves the transfer of service responsibility for park, recreation and fire protection services from the Dublin-San Ramon Community Services District to the City of San Ramon NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY DOES HERE DETERMINE that 100 percent of the property tax accruing to the Dublin-San Ramon Community Services District from the affected territory of the subject jurisdictional change shall, be transferred to the City of San Ramon for the fiscal year for which the State Board of Equalization makes the tax rate area changes for this jurisdictional change. The terms of the property tax transfer shall apply in subsequent years unless changed by the mutual agreement of the affected agencies or subsequent jurisdictional changes. This resolution does not change the property tax revenue accruing to other agencies servicing the subject territory or the affected agencies ' right to collect taxes for existing bonded indebtedness.
