Glover, Chair Candace Andersen, Vice Chair 1. Introductions 2. Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes). 3. RECOMMEND to the Board of Supervisors the appointment of Rita Xavier to Member at Large Seat No. 9 with an expiration dated of September 30, 2015 and Jennifer Doran to Member at Large Seat #10 with an expiration date of September 30, 2014 on the Advisory Council on Aging as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Department. Approved recommended appointments and directed staff to forward to the Board of Supervisors. 4. ACCEPT the report from the Employment and Human Services Department and forward it to the Board of Supervisors for informational purposes. Approved recommendations and directed staff to forward to the Board of Supervisors. 5. Accept the report and forward it to the Board of Supervisors for informational purposes. Accepted report and directed staff to forward to the Board of Supervisors. 6.APPROV E staff recommendation to reallocate $7,277.11 in unspent FY 2013/14 CDBG funds to Shelter, Inc., increasing its FY 2014/15 allocation from $26,675 to $33,952.11, to provide homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing services to 10 additional households, and forwarding a recommendation for approval to the board of Supervisors. The next meeting of the Family and Human Services Committee is scheduled for September 8, 2014. 8.
