Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes). 3. RECOMMEND to the Board of Supervisors the appointment of Argentina Davila-Luevano to At Large Seat 2 and the Re-appointment of Phyllis Gordon to At Large Seat 19 on the Contra Costa Commission for Women with terms expiring on February 28, 20117. RECOMMEND to the Board of Supervisors the re-appointment of Sarah Birdwell to Consumer Seat of Any Age - Seat 3 and Gary Gray to Consumer 60 or Older - Seat 1 and the appointment of Barbara Ward to Consumer Seat of Any Age - Seat 4 and Joe Juarez, Jr. to Consumer Under 60 - Seat 2 on the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority Advisory Committee for terms expiring March 6, 2018. Approved as recommended by staff. RECOMMEND to the Board of Supervisors the appointment of Joshua Westbrook to the Business Seat #6 on the Workforce Development Board. Approved as recommended by staff. AYE: Vice Chair Candace Andersen Passed 6. CONSIDER the attached staff report, provide input and feedback on the recommendations and direct staff to bring recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. Approved as recommended by staff. Directed staff to bring recommendations to Board in mid-June. Staff was directed to meet with community representatives the the County AOT workgroup. AYE: Vice Chair Candace Andersen Passed 7. The next meeting is currently scheduled for April 14, 2014. 8. Adjourn The Family & Human Services Committee will provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities planning to attend Family & Human Services Committee meetings.
