THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION NO. 90/305
SUBJECT: Resolution authorizing the use of Contra Costa County
Sanitation District 19 funds to upgrade treatment plant
facilities. Project #7393-2319 SAS 6x9E19.
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa .County RESOLVE that:
To comply with a requirement of the California Regional Water
Quality Control Board in the NPDES permit issued for the Discovery
Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant, dechlorination facilities must be
provided.
To reduce plugging problems associated with pumping of mixed
liquor solids, modifications to Clarifier Lift Pump Station No. 1
must be made.
The contract upgrading costs to be borne by Contra Costa
County Sanitation District 19 will amount to a maximum of
226, 242 . 06 (includes 10% contingency) ..
All inspection and final approval of facilities will be made
by Delta Diablo Sanitation. District on behalf of Contra Costa
County Sanitation District 19. Sanitation District 19 is hereby
authorized to reimburse Delta Diablo Sanitation District for these
costs. No estimate is made for these costs.
The Board of Supervisors hereby AUTHORIZES the Public Works
Director to arrange for payments to reimburse Delta Diablo
Sanitation District for costs incurred in connection with the above
facilities. These contract construction costs are not to exceed a
maximum of $226, 242.06.
