RESOLUTION NO. 8 7/10 6
SUBJECT: In the Matter of Approving Plans and Specifications for Stanford
Ave. Reconstruction, Project No. 0662-6R4080-86, Kensington Area.
The Public Works Director has filed this day with the Board of
Supervisors, Plans and Specifications for Stanford Ave. Reconstruction.
Said plans and specifications provide for the closure of sections
of Stanford Avenue to through traffic for approximately seven days for each
of- the three sections.
The general prevailing rates of wages, which shall be the minimum
rates paid on this project, have been filed with the Clerk of this Board and
copies will be made available to any interested party upon request.
The estimated contract cost of the project is $134,200.
The project has been determined to be in compliance with the
General Plan. It has been determined that this project is exempt from CEQA
requirements as a Class 1C Categorical Exemption. There is no evidence that
this project will have a significant effect on the environment. It will not
increase traffic in the area or change drainage patterns. There will be no
widening of the existing roadway and all work will be carried out within the
existing right of way. The Board hereby concurs in said determination.
IT IS BY THE BOARD RESOLVED that this project and said Plans and
Specifications are hereby APPROVED. Bids for this work will be received on
Thursday, March 26, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. , and the Clerk of this Board is
directed to publish Notice to Contractors in accordance with Section 20392
of the Public Contract Code, inviting bids for said work, said Notice to be
published in The Valley Pioneer. °
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Community Development
is DIRECTED to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
