RESOLUTION OF PROCEEDINGS FOR ANNEXATION
AND ORDERING REORGANIZA'J'IONS TO COUNTY SERVICE
AREA WITHOUT HEARING OR ELECTION
The Contra Co sta County Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
This Reorganization, consisting of concurrent annexations to
County Service Areas R-7 and L-42, was proposed by the landowners
of the subject area by application filed with the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission on August 3, 1982. The
reason for the proposed Reorganization is to provide the area to be
annexed with street lighting services and park and recreation services .
On October 13, 1982, the Local Agency Formation Commission
approved the proposal for the ~foreiaid Reorganization, subject to
the condition that the exte~ior boundaries of the territory proposed to
be annexed be described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated her e in. Said Commission also found the
territory proposed for Reorganization to be legally uninhabited,
assigned the proposal the designation of ''MS 67-81 Boundary Reorganization
(LAFC 82-36)" and authorized the Reorganization without notice and
hearing by this Board.
This Board hereby finds that this proposed Re organization is in
the best interest of the people of County Service Areas R-7 and L-42
and of the t erritory to b e annexed, that no landowner therein filed a
written protest, and that all landowners in the affected area have
consented in writing to the proposed reorganization. This Board
hereby ORDERS this Reorganization without hearing, without election,
and without being subject to confirmation by the voter s .

along with the appropria t e fe ~s to t h e Exe cutive Offic e r of the
Local Agency Formation Commission, in accordance with Government
Code §56450.

Being a portion of Section 8, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian, Contra Costa County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Parcel 11 A11 as said parcel is

shown on the Parcel Map for Subdivision M.S. 123-70 filed October 27, 1970 in
Book 14 of Parcel Maps at page 34, Co ntra Costa County Records, said corner lying
on the easterly line of Bollinger Canyon Road as shown on said map; thence
leaving said Point of Beginning along the 1/4 section line of said Section 8,
0 0 North O 41 1 22 11 East, 325.00 feet; thence South 79 05 1 54 11 East, 659.42 feet
to the northeasterly corner of said Parcel 11 A11 ; thence along the northerly line of
said Parcel 11 A11 South 72° 54 1 41 11 \~est, 681.52 feet to the Point of Beginning.
