Recommended Action: APPROVE Right of Way Contract and ACCEPT Grant Deed dated October 30, 1987 from Conco Land Company. AUTHORIZE Public Works Director to execute said Right of Way Contract on behalf of the County. APPROVE payment of $11, 265. 00 for said property rights and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller to issue a check in said amount payable to Western Title Insurance Company, Escrow No.W-493690, to be forwarded to the Real Property Division for delivery. Reasons for Recommendations: These property rights are required for the Highway 4 at Big Break widening project in accordance with approved plans and specifications. IV. Background: The area acquired is necessary for the widening (channel- ization) of Highway 4. V.
