SUBJECT: Authorizing Execution of JTPA II-A Contract with Antoinette "`r
D. Warren (DBA Warren and Associates) (419-7070-0)
SPECIFIC REQUEST(S) OR RECOMMENDATION(S) & BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
I. RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Authorize the Executive Director of the Private Industry
Council to execute, on behalf of the County, standard form
Contract 419-7070-0 with Antoinette D. Warren (an individual
DBA Warren and Associates) to operate a JTPA Title II-A 78%
Unit Size Training Program for the period beginning
December 1, 1987 and ending June 30, 1988, to provide security
guard classroom training for JTPA eligible participants
residing in Contra Costa County, excluding the City of
Richmond, for the contract payment amount of $39,900, subject
to approval by County Counsel as to legal form.
II. FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None. 100 percent federal funds.
III. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND:
At its meeting of October 19, 1987, the Private Industry
Council of Contra Costa County, approved the funding of a JTPA
Title II-A Unit Size training contract with Antoinette D.
Warren (an individual DBA Warren and Associates) to provide
classroom training for security guard for approximately 20
JTPA-eligible County residents.
