Code Sec. 25365) SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Real Property Hartz Avenue at Railroad Avenue Project No. 0662-6R4341 Danville Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County acquired the real property on Hartz Avenue at Railroad Avenue in The Town of Danville, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer required for any County purposes. On December 1, 1987, this Board passed a Resolution of Intention to sell said surplus property and fixed December 15, 1987 at 9: 00 a.m. , in its Chambers, as the time and place for the hearing thereon and ordered that the Notice be published as required by law, which was done. The hearing was held at that time and place, this Board considering and hearing all evidence offered concerning the sale by all interested parties. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of said property to The Town of Danville, pursuant to Government Code Section 25365 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Quitclaim Deed on behalf of the County in consideration for the payment in the amount of $15, 464 . 00, the estimated fair market value of the property. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the Quitclaim Deed to be delivered to the grantee upon receipt of payment in full. The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and Section 15312 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
