HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 11032015 - C.30RECOMMENDATION(S): APPOINT the following individual to the District II Seat on the Family and Children's Trust Committee for a two-year term with an expiration date of September 30, 2017, as recommended by Supervisor Candace Andersen: Julia Miner Danville, CA 94526 FISCAL IMPACT: NONE BACKGROUND: In 1982 the Board of Supervisors established the Family and Children's Trust (FACT) Committee to make recommendations regarding the allocation of funds for the prevention and intervention services to reduce child abuse and neglect, provide support services for families with children, and promote a more coordinated seamless system of services. In addressing the needs of the community focusing on prevention and intervention services to reduce child abuse and neglect, FACT maintains a committee comprised of individuals with diverse knowledge, backgrounds, and community perspectives regarding community needs to serve families with children.
