HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 10062015 - C.65RECOMMENDATION(S): Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract Amendment Agreement #26-378-6 with Concord Yellow Cab, Inc., a corporation, effective August 1, 2015, to amend Contract #26-378-5, to increase the payment limit by $325,000 from $250,000 to a new payment limit of $575,000, with no change in the original term of August 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016. FISCAL IMPACT: This amendment is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase) BACKGROUND: On July 7, 2015, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #26-378-5 with Concord Yellow Cab, Inc. for the provision of non-emergency taxicab transportation services for patients to and from Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers and other health facilities, for the period from August 1, 2014 through June 30, 2016. Approval of Contract Amendment Agreement #26-378-6 will allow the Contractor to provide additional non-emergency taxicab transportation services, due to a high volume of psychiatric emergency services, through June 30, 2016.
