prevalence, and its consequences, and ultimately selected these two communities for the SPFSIG project. Through an
established partnership with local law enforcement and elected officials in each of those communities, the County
Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) prevention services engaged an existing system of care providers and residents
through a Countywide Strategic Prevention Framework to develop a logic model that could assist in identifying
priorities and build capacity based on specific cultural and AOD needs. The primary goal of the California’s Strategic
Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant will be to reduce underage and excessive drinking among youth and
young adults’ ages 12 to 25 years old, in the cities of Antioch and Walnut Creek, by implementing the County’s
Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant Project.
Approval of this Standard Agreement #29-532-2 will allow continuous funding to support the County’s Strategic
Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG) Project, through May 31, 2016, including agreeing to
indemnify and hold harmless the State for claims arising out of County’s performance under this Agreement.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:
